Clear out these items for spring cleaning: Attorney General Todd Rokita alerts Hoosiers to over 60 products recalled in April

The Office of Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita

Attorney General Todd Rokita is alerting Hoosiers to over 60 recalled products during the month of April. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission listed recalled items in multiple areas, with children’s toys and outdoor equipment topping the list.

“I know it’s inconvenient and nobody wants to replace a product they just bought,” said Attorney General Rokita. “But the risk of doing nothing is simply too great. Some of these defective items can cause serious injury or even death. Please take these recalls seriously — check your homes today and keep your loved ones safe.”

The Consumer Product Safety Commission reports the following products were recalled in April:

Cookware/Drinkware

Children’s Toys

Decor

Bedding

Home products

Hair products

Outdoor equipment

Electronics

Clothes

If you believe you recently purchased a recalled product, stop using it, and check its recall notice (linked above for all products). Then follow the notice’s instructions, including where to return the product, how to get the product fixed, how to dispose of the product, how to receive a refund for the product, or what steps must be taken to receive a replacement product.
