Mrs. Clella Mae “Ted” Leach, 94, of Lebanon, Indiana, passed away early Wednesday morning, May 29, 2024, at Community North Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born in Arkansas on June 9, 1929, to the late Wallace Stark and Annis (Brewer) Stark.
On April 2, 1949, she was united in marriage to Jack Leach in Piggott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on January 30, 1999.
In 1988, Clella and her husband moved to Lebanon. She was a member of the Lebanon Church of Christ. A devoted homemaker who enjoyed watching baseball, working in her yard, baking, and spending quality time with her family.
Survivors include her children, Brenda (Dennis) Belter of Indianapolis and Phyllis Leach of Lebanon; daughter-in-law, Denise Leach of Anderson; grandchildren, Jennifer (Jason) Tinsley of Indianapolis, Jackie (Paul) Cook of Noblesville, Brian Leach of Greenwood, and Katie Leach of Lebanon; great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Paxton, Delaney, Harlyn, Jadyn, and Jordyn; and siblings, Athlea Bailey of Clarkton Missouri and Junior Stark of Kansas City, Missouri.
In addition to her parents and her beloved husband, Clella was preceded in death by her son Raymond P. Leach; siblings, Gerilene (Tom) Battles and J.T. (Merle) Stark; and brother-in-law, Cornelious Bailey.
PRIVATE Family Graveside Services at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Whitestown, Indiana. Myers Mortuary has been entrusted with her arrangements.
