Clinic Reminds Parents With Children About Immunizations

The Clinton County Immunization Clinic would like to remind parents to get their children’s school immunizations in the next few months to prepare for the 2021-2022 school year.  As a general rule, children entering Kindergarten (age 4), Sixth grade (age 11-12) and Seniors (age 16) will require immunizations.

The clinic is located at 1234 Rossville Ave, Suite 2B.  All visits are by appointment.  Please call 765-659-6385 Ex. 1309 to schedule an appointment.  The clinic hours are Tuesday and Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

All persons from the age of 2 months through adult may be vaccinated at the clinic.  Uninsured and Medicaid covered children through the age of 18 are eligible for Vaccine for Children (VFC) which is sponsored by the Indiana State Department of Health and CDC at no charge.   The clinic will file insurance for children and adults with private insurance. Adults over 18 who are uninsured may qualify for some vaccines at no charge.   Flu shots are still available.

Covid vaccine is being administered in the conference room of the Health Department.  It is not being provided by the Immunization Clinic.  To schedule a dose, log onto https://ourshot.in.gov.  If you don’t have computer access, dial 211.  As a reminder, there may be a lengthy wait for either of these options (up to several hours).  The Health Department is not able to schedule your appointment.
