Clinton Central Defeats Frankfort in Dual Swim Meet

Clinton Central swept the boys’ and girls’ swimming meet Thursday night against Frankfort in Michigantown. Central won the boys’ meet 129-51 and the girls were victorious 112-71.

Clinton Prairie Gets Past Eastern
Katie Blacker and Kylie Maish each scored 13 points to lead Clinton Prairie to a 39-38 victory over Eastern Friday night in Greentown.
Trailing 8-3 after a quarter, Prairie outscored Eastern 27-16 in the middle two quarters to take a 30-24 lead into the fourth quarter.
Maish also had 13 rebounds for the Gophers, 18-2. Hannah Wilson added nine rebounds and Tynlie Neal had six rebounds.
In the JV contest, Claire Ecenbarger had 14 points and Kaitlyn Beck added seven as Prairie won 34-13. Beck also grabbed 10 rebounds.
Frankfort Falls to Southmont
On Thursday night, Frankfort lost to Southmont 55-33. Jordan Frazier led FHS with 15 points. JV also lost 39-30. Madyson Cook led the Hot Dogs with 14 points.
