Andrew Quinn has been named as the new Head Varsity Baseball Coach at Clinton Central Jr./Sr. High School.
Quinn comes to Clinton Central by way of Wabash College, DePauw University, and St. Louis University High School. Born and raised in St. Louis, MO, Quinn was an all-state pitcher in 2013 as a senior in high school. While attending DePauw University, Quinn played in two NCAA tournaments and was voted captain of the 2016-17 team. He was a part of the winningest 4-year group in DePauw baseball history, a program that is over 100 years old.
Since graduating from DePauw in 2017, Quinn has spent two years at Wabash College in Crawfordsville as the outfield coach and strength & conditioning coordinator for the baseball program. In addition, he also coaches with RoundTripper Baseball Academy in Westfield where he is currently a lead instructor. During the school day, Quinn also serves as CC’s In-School Suspension Supervisor.
“Coach Quinn has the background and experience to serve as a role model for our students during the school day and to lead our baseball student-athletes in the spring,” said Clinton Central Athletic Director Charles Roberts. “My confidence in him has our Baseball program in good hands.”
