Clinton Central Students to Host Community Service Day — Seeking Local Sponsors to Support Projects

Information Provided by Allie Schultz

Students at Clinton Central Jr./Sr. High School are once again preparing to make a difference through their annual Community Service Day, a hands-on event dedicated to helping those in need throughout Clinton County.

After the success of last year’s event — where students and staff assembled hygiene bags and blankets for senior citizens and created Christmas cards for nursing home residents — this year’s initiative promises to be even more impactful. The school is partnering with United Way to expand outreach and strengthen community connections.

On the upcoming Community Service Day, students will focus on three key initiatives:

Hygiene Bags – Continuing the tradition of assembling bags filled with essential hygiene items for senior citizens

Bags of Love – Preparing care bags for children and teens who have been removed from their homes by the Department of Child Services, offering comfort during difficult times

Little Free Pantries – Building and placing pantries throughout Clinton County to provide 24/7 food access in rural areas and help combat food insecurity

Community Sponsorships Welcome
To make these projects possible, Clinton Central students are inviting local businesses and individuals to help sponsor this year’s efforts. Donations will fund the supplies and materials needed to complete each project.

Sponsorship levels include:

Platinum Sponsor ($500 and above): Logo on all promotional materials, recognition in press and social media, and verbal acknowledgment at the event.
Gold Sponsor ($250–$499): Logo on materials and signage, and recognition on social media.
Silver Sponsor ($100–$249): Recognition in event materials.
Community Supporter (any amount): Name included on the event gratitude list.
Investing in the Community

Each sponsorship is more than a donation — it’s an investment in the community’s future. Funds raised will empower students to engage in meaningful volunteerism, assist senior citizens and youth in crisis, and promote food security for families in need.
