Clinton Central Welcomes New School Resource Officer

Clinton central School Corporation has announced the implementation of a new school resource officer who will dedicate his time to ensuring the safety of all students and staff at the schools throughout the year.

The corporation recently welcomed school resource officer Curtis Herring, who has been an employee of the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office for over 10 years as he served the community at the county jail, the dispatch center and as a Sheriff Deputy. Herring is a graduate of Clinton Central High School and attended the corporation from kindergarten through graduation.

“We are grateful to have Officer Herring serving at CCSC focused on the safety and security of our students, faculty and staff,” the corporation released. “Please join us in welcoming Officer Herring back to Clinton Central.”
