The Bulldogs’ junior high cross country team competed in back-to-back meets on Tuesday, Sep. 24, and Wednesday, Sep. 25.
The team raced at the Western Invite at The Valley on Tuesday and Matthew Dunn took first place with a time of 11:26. Owen Wellman also finished inside the top 10 with a time of 12:41.
Dunn took first again on Wednesday during a tri-meet between the Bulldogs, Western Boone and Lebanon. Dunn finished with a time of 11:38, Wellman finished fourth with a time of 12:32, and Hudson Neal and Joseph Faulkner finished seventh and eighth, both with personal best times.
Earlier this season, Dunn broke the school record in the Junior High 3k with a time of 10:43.
Both the Junior High and Varsity Cross Country teams will run again on Saturday at the Culver Invitational.
