Clinton County Autism Support Group Expands Mission Through Full Potential Services Inc.

Exciting changes are underway for the Clinton County Autism Support Group as the organization begins a new chapter under the umbrella of Full Potential Services Inc..

According to an announcement shared by administrator Gena Carson, the Clinton County Autism Support Group officially became part of Full Potential Services Inc. effective immediately. The move marks an important step toward expanding support and services for individuals and families throughout the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities community.

Full Potential Services Inc. will now work toward becoming a registered nonprofit organization, allowing it to broaden its reach and better serve not only those impacted by autism, but the wider Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities community as well.

While the organization grows, supporters can expect familiar programs and gatherings to continue. The Clinton County Autism Support Group will still hold meetings every other month, while Full Potential Services Inc. plans to continue offering programs, advocacy, community events, and support services for families and individuals across the region.

Leaders of the organization say they are excited about the opportunities this transition will create and the ability to make an even greater impact in the community. The expanded structure is expected to open doors for additional programming, resources, partnerships, and long-term growth aimed at helping individuals reach their fullest potential.

For many local families, the organization has already served as a valuable source of encouragement, education, and connection. With this new transition, organizers hope to strengthen those efforts and continue building an inclusive and supportive community for years to come.
