The Boys and Girls Club of Clinton County has announced that applications for its Help a Neighbor program that intends to provide Christmas assistance to those in need during the holiday season are due in one week.
Registration opened Oct. 28 and will continue through Nov. 26. Registration forms are available at the Club at 1100 W. Green St. in Frankfort.
The program is intended to provide Christmas assistance for kids living in Clinton County below the age of 15. The program is designed for families in need to help offset financial stresses during the holiday season.
Birth certificate copies of all the children in the home must be submitted with the application, and copies are not made on site. The Club will ask for children’s likes and sizes, but the Club stated that clothing, shoes or specified gifts are not guaranteed to be given.
“We try to match kids and gifts as best as possible with what donations are available,” the Club released.
