CORE Community Center announced that the Clinton County Cancer Support Group will continue hosting its programming on the second Thursday of the month beginning at 5:30 p.m. through September at CORE at 950 S. Maish Rd. in Frankfort.
Community members were invited to the first Clinton County Cancer Support Group meet and greet at CORE Community Center with special guest speaker Paula Pettis-Garrett on Saturday, March 9 for the staff and the community to gauge their interest and the benefits of the programming. Following the success of the initial meet and greet, new dates were set for the summer season at CORE.
Those who have been diagnosed with cancer of any kind, those who are facing fear, anger, loneliness, anxiety and uncertainty of any kind and those who are searching for a safe place to talk, laugh, learn and restore hope are more than welcome to attend.
