Soup and sandwiches at VFW Post 1110, 309 N. Main St., after the program.

Dinner at American Legion Post #12, 451 W. Clinton St., 6-7 p.m. for Veteran and one guest.

Post Veterans Day Dinner at Faith Family Church, 508 W. Green St. at 5-7 p.m. on November 12.

Kirklin American Legion Post 310 Annual Rabbit Supper

The ladies Auxiliary of the  America legion in Kirklin and some of the legionnaires put together the annual Rabbit Supper for the Veterans, Family, and Friends.

There were between 275-300 guests at the supper and were served rabbit, ham, sides, and deserts.

Photos of the new mural painted on the east side of the legion are included in the photographs. The artist is Leah Kallner and help from Scott Kallner. They have finished phase 1 and tells us they plan to have a fund raiser in the spring hopefully to begin phase 2.
