Clinton County Clerk’s Office Receives $41,000 Grant For Election Improvements

On his trip around the state presenting grants intended to improve the election process, Secretary of State Diego Morales presented a state grant to Clinton County Clerk Stephanie Harshbarger to help continue the improvements of the election process in Clinton County prior to and following the upcoming general election in November.

Morales presented the $41,054 grant to the Clerk’s Office with the intent for the funds to be utilized for new election machines and poll worker and voter outreach.

The Clinton County Clerk’s Office has released a request for community members to consider acting as a poll worker during the upcoming November General Election set for Tuesday, Nov. 5 this year.

The Clinton County Clerk’s Office released a call-to-action for community members to become more involved in the election process by becoming a poll worker this year.

“America needs more poll workers now to ensure secure and accessible elections in 2024 and beyond,” the department released.
