The Clinton County Extension Homemakers explored the community of White County yesterday, June 27 alongside the White County Extension Homemakers in an effort to learn more about the surrounding counties of Indiana.
The White County Merri Mixers hosted the members of the Clinton County Extension Homemakers yesterday for the “Host A Hoosier” program where homemakers from other counties are granted the opportunity to experience the amenities and meet leaders from White County.
The homemakers began their day with breakfast at the Mayor’s Office, supplemented with a presentation from the Historical Society about the tornadoes in the county.
The homemakers proceeded to board a bus and shop at Piddles before enjoying lunch and a tour at the Whistle Shop. The homemakers rounded out their day of exploring White County by experiencing a video tour at Biotown Ag before ending the day with a pontoon ride on Lake Shafer.
