The Clinton County Fair Council has received the line-up of rides to be provided for this year’s Clinton County & 4-H Fair by Huesman Amusements. Fair Council Chairman Jamie Blacker says, “the ride line-up is in line with our desire to attract more families to this year’s fair”. This year’s fair is July 8-15 at the fairgrounds in Frankfort, Indiana.
The complete Huesman ride line-up has been posted on the fair council’s web page: www.fair.clintonco.com. Fair Council web mater Skip Davis says, “while our web page is current, we continue to add more information about activities to our fair schedule”.
Fair Council Co-Chair Nancy Elsea points out that, ”Daily wrist ban specials are a feature of the information now available on the fair’s web page”. She believes, “this will help families set a better budget before attending this year’s fair.”
Fair Council member Hillary Doyle is in charge of the council’s Facebook presence. That address is: “Clinton County Fair Council, Inc. Indiana”. Doyle has recently posted information about the fairgrounds including pictures of the transformation of the number 5 hose barn, and updates to the fair’s schedule.
Finally, Fair Council Chairman Jamie Blacker says, “this week’s weather has worked in our favor and the Clinton County Highway Department has been able to load and deliver more than 100 truck-loads of soil for our drainage work on the race track infield.” Blacker added, “Kudos to Clinton County Highway Department Superintendent Kevin Myers and his workers. Myers played a key role in putting this last minute undertaking together.” Soil deliveries are expected to end Friday.
