The Clinton County Fair Council has announced that the 2021 Clinton County Fairgrounds Winter Storage Program will begin on Saturday, November 6, at 8 a.m.
To place in storage, individuals need to enter off Alhambra Avenue on the east side of the Fairgrounds, turn right then proceed to the northwest side of the Fairgrounds around to the Edward Jones Community Building.
There are a few requirements for participation in the program. In preparation for storage please make sure all storage tanks such as water and sewage are empty. Please follow International Fire Code which states:
Liquid or gas fueled vehicles, boats or other motor craft shall not be located indoors except as follows:
- Batteries are disconnected.
- Fuel in fuel tanks does not exceed one-quarter tank, or 5 gallons (19), whichever is least.
- Fuel tanks and fill openings are closed and sealed to prevent tampering.
- Vehicle, boats or other motor craft equipment are not fueled or defueled within the building.
Visit our new webpage at https://clintoncofairgrounds.com/ for the latest information.
On the morning of storage placement, please proceed to the Edward Jones Community Building. There your equipment will be measured ($10/foot). You will then take the measurement document into the Edward Jones Community building where you will submit your Lease Agreement and pay your registration fee. For security reasons, pictures will be taken of your equipment and you will be directed to the appropriate storage site.
The removal date will be March 12, 2022, promptly at 8 a.m. All equipment must be removed at this time. A late fee of $100 will be charged for all equipment received outside of the announced removal date and time.
