Boone County Filings For 2024 Primaries Close Feb. 6

With the 2024 primary election approaching on May 7, 2024, numerous Boone County positions will be on the ballot alongside state and federal races.

The first date to file for candidacy was Jan. 10 for local races. The last day for a candidate to file will be Feb. 6 at noon for the primary election held on May 7.

Positions in the Boone County Government that will be up for election during the primaries will be:

Some positions, such as school board members, will only appear on the fall ballot.
