Clinton County Health Department Director Rodney Wann announced Wednesday that Clinton County has suffered its 10th death related to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, he was able to break down the deaths due to the demographics.
Of the 10 deaths, there was one each in the 30-39, 60-69 and 70-79 age categories and the other seven was in the over 80 group. All individuals who died were white, including five males and five females.
Wann added Clinton County is in the top five counties in the state when it comes to testing being provided for its residents.
As of noon Wednesday, Clinton County has had 555 positive cases of COVID-19 with two being new for today, and a total of 7,215 tests being done.
