The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces Clinton County Road 1000 West or County Line Road Bridge over I-65 will close on or after Monday, April 2. The contractor will be replacing the bridge deck. The closure is scheduled to last for 60 days.
Traffic will be detoured following C.R. 1000 W. to New Castle Road, west to C.R. 900 E. then south to C.R. 900 S. and back.
Milestone Contractors, L.P. was awarded the $47.2 million contract. The project on I-65 includes patching and resurfacing the interstate from one mile south of U.S. 52 in Lebanon to nearly 3.5 miles south of State Road 38 in Lafayette, replacing the decks on the State Road 47 Bridge and on Tippecanoe County Road 900 E. and Clinton County Road 1000 W. Bridges over I-65. The project is scheduled to be completed in October of 2018.
Milestone plans to do some pothole patching this week during the overnight hours, weather permitting.
