Clinton County Area Plan Commission seeking a building inspector to assist with tasks including, but not limited to, inspection of sites and structures, reviewing permits, answering building code related questions, citing code violations, attending meetings, assisting customers in navigating the approval process, conducting research, preparing and submitting requested building code related reports, coordinating with other agencies, etc.
Need high school diploma and ICC Residential Inspector certification or the ability to obtain it within three months. Initially a temporary position that could turn into a regular full time position.
