The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office and Clinton County Coroner released a joint statement regarding the death of a Michigantown resident, which was discovered following a fatal crash that involved the resident’s son overnight.
On Tuesday, Aug. 27, Sheriff’s Office deputies reportedly responded to a residence in Michigantown to deliver a death notification to Brian Crick, 56, following a crash that occurred overnight in Frankfort.
Upon arrival, deputies reportedly located Crick deceased in his home, and investigations resulted in deputies declaring that no evidence of foul play is suspected in his death. However, the Sheriff’s Office stated that the results of the toxicology tests from the autopsy are still pending.
The Sheriff’s Office stated that the investigation is ongoing and no further information will be released at this time.
