The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office will continue serving as a warming center for local community members during the cold weather.
The Sheriff’s Office, located at 301 E. Walnut St. in Frankfort, will have its public lobby open and accessible for those needing a place to stay warm during the winter weather. The lobby will be adorned with cots, blankets and sweaters for use, and a meal will be provided for those in need.
The Sheriff’s Office stated that the “local hot spots” have been checked to ensure that all community members in need are aware of the warming center rather than being exposed to the elements outside during the below-freezing weather.
