The Clinton County Special Olympics basketball teams faced off against teams from across the region on Sunday to vie for the gold medal in the annual Wabash Area 4 tournament.
Four teams departed for Wabash College on Sunday to compete in the Area 4 Tournament, and the teams brough home one gold, two bronze and one fourth-place placements to the county.
The men’s 5v5 team won gold, the youth 3v3 team won bronze, the women’s 3v3 team won bronze and the coed 5v5 team took home a fourth-place finish.
“The day was long, but we had a great time at the Wabash Area 4 tournament,” the organization released. “Thank you to everyone that came out to cheer on our athletes.”
