Clinton County Special Olympics announced that the time of year for the teams to take the plunge in support of the Special Olympics Indiana organization.
The organization announced that the Clinton County team will participate in the 2025 Polar Plunge on Feb. 8 at Purdue University in support of the state organization’s programs. Clinton County Special Olympics Coordinator Crissy Earl stated that in order for the county to earn 60% of the money raised to stay directly in the county, donors may select three different means to donate.
Donations to support the county program may be submitted in person or online at secure.e2rm.com. Community members may also elect to join the team and take the plunge to help raise money as well.
The Polar Plunge is the signature Special Olympics Indiana fundraiser. Since its inception, more than 42,000 Hoosiers have taken the Plunge supporting Special Olympics Indiana athletes and making the Polar Plunge the largest fundraising event benefiting Special Olympics in the state. Individuals and groups jump into the frigid and icy waters of Indiana, soliciting donations from family and friends – often dressing up to make this “bucket list” activity as memorable as possible. Come join us for this memorable 26th year of the Polar Plunge.
