Clinton County Under Dense Fog Advisory Tuesday Morning

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Dense Fog Advisory for several areas, including Clinton County, which is in effect until 9 a.m. Tuesday morning. This means that visibility will be a quarter-of-a-mile or less in some areas and hazardous travel conditions exist in the dense fog.

Besides Clinton, other counties affected are Bartholomew, Boone, Brown, Carroll, Clay, Daviess, Decatur, Delaware, Fountain, Greene, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks. Henry, Howard, Jackson, Jennings, Johnson, Knox, Lawrence, Madison, Martin, Marion, Monroe, Montgomery, Morgan, Owen, Parke, Putnam, Randolph, Rush, Shelby, Sullivan, Tippecanoe, Tipton, Vermillion, Vigo and Warren.

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use your headlights and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
