The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Wind Advisory for Clinton County, which is in effect until 10 p.m. this (Thursday) evening. Gusts of 40 to 50 mph will be possible. High profile vehicles may experience difficult driving conditions. Outdoor items that are not secured may be easily blown about.
Affected counties besides Clinton are Bartholomew, Boone, Brown, Carroll, Clay, Daviess, Decatur, Delaware, Fountain, Greene, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Henry, Howard, Jackson, Jennings, Johnson, Knox, Lawrence, Madison, Marion, Martin, Monroe, Montgomery, Morgan, Owen, Parke, Putnam, Randolph, Rush, Shelby, Sullivan, Tippecanoe, Tipton, Vermillion, Vigo and Warren.
A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 30 mph or wind gusts of 45 mph are expected.
