The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Wind Advisory for portions of central, east central, north central and west central Indiana, including Clinton County, until 4 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
Besides Clinton, other affected areas include Boone, Carroll, Clay, Delaware, Fountain, Hamilton, Hancock, Henry, Howard, Madison, Marion, Montgomery, Parke, Putnam, Randolph, Tipton, Tippecanoe, Vermillion, Vigo and Warren.
Northwest winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected. Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Motorists are encouraged to use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle.
