The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Wind Advisory for portions of central, north central, southwest and west central Indiana, including Clinton County, from 10 a.m. this morning until 11 p.m. tonight.
Besides Clinton, other affected areas include Carroll, Clay, Fountain, Montgomery, Parke, Putnam, Sullivan, Vermillion, Vigo and Warren counties.
South winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are expected. Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Motorists are urged to use extra caution when driving, especially is operating a high profile vehicle. Individuals are urged to secure outdoor objects.
