The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Wind Chill Advisory for portions of central, east central, north central and west central Indiana, including Clinton County, from 10 p.m. Tuesday evening until 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Besides Clinton, other affected counties will be Boone, Carroll, Delaware, Fountain, Hamilton, Henry, Howard, Madison, Montgomery, Randolph, Tippecanoe, Tipton and Warren.
Very cold wind chills are expected. The cold wind chills will cause frostbite in as little as 30 minutes to exposed skin. Expect wind chills to range from 5 below zero to 15 below zero. These type of conditions can quickly lead to hypothermia. Make sure you wear a hat and gloves.
Very cold weather will continue the remainder of the week with some nights having wind chills near 10 below zero. Accumulating snow is possible Friday night into Saturday night. It is too early to be definite about amounts.
