The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for portions of central, east central, north central and west central Indiana, including Clinton County, from 1 a.m. Wednesday to 1 a.m. Thursday. Snow is expected with accumulations of 2 to 4 inches with locally higher amounts possible.
Surface and ground temperatures at or just above freezing may limit snowfall accumulations a bit through Wednesday afternoon before temperatures fall.
Besides Clinton, other affected areas include Boone, Carroll, Delaware, Fountain, Hamilton, Howard, Madison, Montgomery, Tippecanoe, Tipton and Warren counties and includes the cities of Frankfort, Anderson, Attica, Carmel, Covington, Crawfordsville, Delphi, Fishers, Flora, Kokomo, Lafayette, Lebanon, Muncie, Noblesville, Tipton, Veedersburg, West Lafayette, West Lebanon, Williamsport and Zionsville.
Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes.
