The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for portions of central, east central and north central Indiana, including Clinton County, from 1 p.m. Monday to 8 a.m. Tuesday.
Besides Clinton, other affected areas are Boone, Carroll, Delaware, Fountain, Hancock, Hendricks, Henry, Howard, Madison, Marion, Montgomery, Parke, Putnam, Randolph, Tippecanoe, Tipton, Vermillion and Warren.
Snow is expected with a total snow accumulation of 2 to 3 inches. Motorists should play on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute.
Rapidly falling temperatures this evening and overnight may lead to flash freezing conditions with roads remaining icy through Tuesday morning.
