Clinton County Under Winter Weather Advisory

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for portions of central, east central, north central and west central Indiana, from 10 p.m. this evening until 10 a.m. Wednesday. This includes Clinton County.

Mixed precipitation is expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches and ice accumulations of a light glaze are expected. Motorists should plan on slippery road conditions. This hazardous conditions could impact morning commute.

Besides Clinton, other affected areas include Boone, Carroll, Delaware, Fountain, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Henry, Howard, Johnson, Madison, Marion, Montgomery, Morgan, Parke, Putnam, Randolph, Rush, Shelby, Tippecanoe, Tipton, Vermillion and Warren counties.

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Expect slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving. The latest road conditions for Indiana can be obtained by calling 1-800-261-7623.
