The Clinton County Youth Theatre (CCYT) will present Anne of Green Gables in the Frankfort Community Public Library’s Skanta Theatre. The play will be performed January 25–27 at 7:30 p.m. each evening as well as at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 27. The play, written by Joseph Robinette, is an adaptation of the popular and beloved L.M. Montgomery novel. It is the story of a feisty, intelligent, red-headed orphan who is taken in by a lonely spinster named Marilla and her brother Matthew. Audiences are sure to enjoy the CCTY’s version of familiar scenes such as “the slate debacle,” “the raspberry cordial incident,” and “the sudden awakening of Aunt Josephine.” General seating tickets are $7 and may be purchased at the Library’s circulation desk or by calling (765) 654-8746.
