Clinton Prairie Coach Accepts New Position At Frontier

Clinton Prairie Varsity Football coach Raymond Jones has resigned after 4 seasons with the Gophers. Coach Jones has accepted a new position at Frontier High School in White County as the new Athletic Director, Dean of Students, & Varsity Football coach for the 1A Falcons. He replaces Troy Burgess who had resigned earlier this year at Frontier. Raymond Jones was 6-5 this past season with the Gophers and lead them into the sectional finals. Coach Jones had 5 members of his squads at Prairie make the 1A All State Football team and numerous players on the Lafayette Journal & Courier Small School all area team in his time at Clinton Prairie. He joined the Gophers in 2018 after completing 3 seasons as the head coach of the Fountain Central Mustangs going 30-7 with 2 sectional titles in 2016 & 2017.
