Clinton Prairie outscored Sheridan 27-16 in the middle two quarters and held on for a 55-51 non-conference boys’ basketball victory Friday night in Sheridan.
The victory was the fourth in a row for the Gophers, 5-3.
Trailing 17-11 after a quarter, the Gophers outscored the Blackhawks by 11 points in the middle two quarters to take a 38-33 lead into the fourth quarter.
Grant McGraw led Prairie with 16 points. Bailey Good added 10 points and Mason McGraw had eight points. Good had a team-high four assists while Kody Gibson led in rebounds with four. Good, Grant McGraw and Jacob Fullerton each added three rebounds for the Gophers.
