Clinton Prairie Finishes Regular Season Basketball At Home With a Win Against North Newton And Alex Farley Reaching 1000 Points

Clinton Prairie defeated North Newton Friday night at home by the score of 76-17

Alex Farley joined the 1000 Club in the 3rd quarter needing only 2 points but decided to make it a 3 pointer with 3 min and 33 seconds left in the 3rd quarter.

Clinton Prairie won every home game this season ending the regular season 20-2 losing only to Sheridan by one point 59-58, and losing to Tipton by only 3 points 45-48.

Scoring for Clinton Prairie Friday night was Alex Farley also the top scorer with 28 points, Jake McGraw 17, Ryan Harshbarger 11, Evan Smock 8, NIck Curtin 4, Rhett Whitlock,Jake Swinford,Hunter Haynes, and Kyle Harshbarger each adding 2 points.

Gophers JV also defeated North Newton 47-19 Scoring for the Gophers were Brady Allen 13, Rhett Whitlock 12, Jaymon Crick 7, Conner Rios 5, Conner Haynes 5,Chase Fleischaeur 4, and Ryan Swinford adding 1 point.

Clinton Prairie will be playing in the Clinton Central Sectional on Wednesday night in the second game starting at 7:30 taking on (18-4) Carroll Cougars
