Clinton Prairie beat Carroll in championship round of Holiday tourney Saturday night 49-39. Top scorers for the Gophers were Kaleb Peters leading the way with 15, Trevor Funk 12, and Bailey Good added 11. Bailey and Kaleb were named to the All -tournament team and Trevor was named Tournament MVP.
Carroll Defeated Clinton Central 70-66 in the consolation game of holiday tourney. It was a close and exciting 4 quarters of basketball.
Clinton Central high scorers for the night were Payton Moore leading the way with 14, Jake Shoup with 13, Drew Hosteter with 11, and Kyle Pickard with 10. Also Dave Trees was recognized between games and is stepping down as Fire Chief at Michigantown Fire Dept.
