Clinton Street By The Farmers Bank Reduced To One-Way Street On Tuesday, July 30; Crews Expect Reopening Of Eastbound Lane On Wednesday

The City of Frankfort has announced that due to the safety of community members and constructions crews, a portion of Clinton Street in downtown Frankfort will be reduced to a one-way lane on Tuesday.

The city released a statement stating that due to the safety of a large crane and steel being in the area of The Farmers Bank construction project, Clinton Street between Jackson Street and Main Street will be reduced to a one-way street headed west on Tuesday, July 30 beginning at 7 a.m. with an expected reopening date of the second lane on Wednesday.

Parking will be available for community members along the southside of the courthouse on Clinton Street, and Ivy Tech Community College will also have its parking lot available for community members to utilize prior to the beginning of school for extra downtown parking.
