The Colfax Christian Church has announced that the Dorcas Annual Auction has been set tonight, Friday, March 14 at the church for community members to purchase an array of items while supporting the ladies’ ministry.
Dorcas is the ladies’ ministry at the church, and the women of Dorcas are noted for their dedication to serving the community by hosting the annual Ole Hickory Days pancake breakfast, organizing funeral dinners, sending greeting cards, hosting women’s events and much more.
The annual auction acts as the biggest means of raising funds for the ministry.
The event will kick off at 6 p.m. today, Friday, March 14 with a meal before the auction opens at 6:30 where community members can bid on homemade items, big-ticket items and much more.
