The Community Christmas Dinner will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, December 25, at the Paul Phillippe Resource Center, 401 W. Walnut St., Frankfort.
Dinner coordinator Butch Pickering said he needs help and would welcome those who would care to be a part of this occasion. He believes they will serve at least 650 people. Meals will also be delivered to those who want them.
Pickering said the following items will needed: monetary donations, food items on the menu and grocery gift certificates. The menu will be ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, sweet potatoes, green beans, rolls, pies, coffee, iced tea and lemonade.
Several people will be giving up their Christmas Day to help and serve others.
