Get in the Holiday Spirit with Oaklawn Acres Christmas Lights. Lights are on nightly from 6-10 p.m. and will remain on to Saturday, December 29. Visiting hours are Sundays through Thursdays from 6-10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays will be from 6-11 p.m. Oaklawn Acres is located two miles southeast of Rossville at the corner of 300 West and 800 North.
The Frankfort Optimist Club’s Annual Christmas Tree Sale has begun. It is being held in the parking lot behind Hawaiian Shaved Ice on State Road 28 in Frankfort, just west of Dairy Queen. Hours are 4-7 p.m. Monday through Friday, Saturdays 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays 1-7 p.m. The sale will continue for approximately two weeks. Proceeds support the Optimist Club’s projects for area youth. Plus, Boy Scout Troop 311 will receive a portion of the proceeds for assisting with the sale.

The Second Annual Santa Slam 2018 Raffle is set with all proceeds going to the Clinton County Special Olympics Team. Center Township is leading a new program called TEA (Team for Elderly Assistance). This is made up of a group of community volunteers to aid the elderly within Center Township with snow shoveling and salt assistance for sidewalks and walkways for the winter.
