Community Foundation Of Boone County Awards Lebanon Public Library A $3,775 Grant To Expand Language Programming

The Community Foundation of Boone County announced a $3,775 grant that was awarded to the Lebanon Public Library to help expand the language-learning opportunities available to the community through the library.

The foundation awarded the library an Unrestricted Grant for 2024 that will be utilized to help add Mango Languages to the list of online databases accessible through the library. The program will grant patrons access to materials utilized to learn over 70 languages, including American Sign Language materials, English as a Second Language resources, videos geared for young children to learn a language and much more.

The library stated that it plans to announce the official launch date of the program in the near future.
