Community Loses LeRoy Good

We woke up Monday morning to find out LeRoy Good has passed away. Shan Sheridan called the Partyline Program Monday morning to share his thoughts:

The following was taken from a Facebook post when we celebrated his birthday this past summer:
LeRoy Good was honored today and celebrated for his 100th birthday. Mayor Judy Sheets issued a proclamation declaring LeRoy’s birthday, June 8, as LeRoy Good Day in the City of Frankfort. On this memorable day we are honored to celebrate LeRoy, a World War II veteran, and thank him for his service. We are truly grateful for LeRoy’s years of wisdom and his willingness to share his wealth of historical knowledge with our community. Happy Birthday LeRoy!

  1. I loved it when he came to Harry’s coffee bar and show and tell of all he knew of Clinton County. It was always a packed house. Standing room only. I learnt alot from his yearly trips in Harry’s. Our community has lost a great man.
