
The resolution states that Superintendent Joel McKinney is “authorized to explore the purchase of the Property and report back to the Board of School Trustees regarding the potential terms of such purchase.”
McKinney expressed cautious optimism of the project. “I’m pleased that our Board is fully behind this potential project. Although there are still many hurdles to overcome, especially in regard to the renovation funding sources, it’s exciting that our students may have the opportunity to participate in a growing number of career pathways classes in a facility that has the support of so many stakeholders in this community.”
