The Community Schools of Frankfort Board of Education passed a resolution involving appropriations with a fund Tuesday night.
Superintendent Dr. Matt Rhoda explains what this does.
“What that intra-fund transfer does is it takes all the accounts that has positive dollars in it and any fund that is in the negative it transfers money to all so that there’s an even zero in all those balances so that there’s a zero balance on all of our accounts,” said Rhoda.
Rhoda added what the money they have left over is treated as cash balance.
“This is pretty much an account cleaning,” said Rhoda.
