Connecticut Man Arrested For OWI & Methamphetamine Possession In Carroll County

On Monday, March 3, an Indiana State Police Trooper arrested a 51-year-old male from Connecticut for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and possession of methamphetamine in Carroll County.

The trooper reportedly conducted a traffic stop on US 421 near County Road 900 West for a traffic violation, and during the stop, information was developed that led to the trooper believing that the driver was allegedly under the influence of a controlled substance. The driver was placed under arrest.

Further investigation reportedly led to the discovery of suspected methamphetamine and other controlled substances.

“Driving under the influence puts everyone on the road at risk,” the department released. “If you suspect an impaired driver, report it–help keep our roads safe.”
