Connie C. Boatright

Connie Carol Boatright, 88, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at CrownPointe Assisted Living in Lebanon, Indiana. She was born June 23, 1935, in Hanford, California to the late Bruce B. and Crystal Carol (Cook) Calhoun. Connie was married to Jack Eugene Boatright on November 6, 1955, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He preceded her in death on April 20, 2017.

She graduated from Deer Creek High School in Deer Creek, Indiana and attended International Business College.

Connie was an active member of Centenary United Methodist Church where she participated in bible studies and several mission trips. She was a member of Mother’s Club in Dayton, Indiana, and held a social membership at Ulen Country Club. A season ticket holder, Connie loved attending and rooting on the Lebanon Leprechauns. She was employed as a teacher aid and a bus driver for Tippecanoe County Schools and retired from the Women’s Studies department at Purdue University.

Connie was a wonderful seamstress and enjoyed quilting and sewing. Connie really enjoyed watching her granddaughters participate in volleyball and her grandson in dance/musical theatre. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life and her kindness extended beyond her family to everyone she met. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be known for her nurturing, loving ways, especially her hugs.

She is survived by her two sons, Mike (Suzanne) Boatright of Carmel, Indiana and Dan (Gina) Boatright of Lebanon; three grandchildren, Caroline, Allie and Owen; and sister, Linda Luedtke of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until the time of services. A meal will be provided after the service in Carmel. Private family burial at IOOF Riverview Cemetery in Monticello, Indiana.
