Connie Lea (Brittain) Watson

 

  Connie Lea Watson, 77, of Frankfort, passed peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones on April 5, 2024. She was born on October 21, 1946, in Frankfort, to Charles and Elizabeth (Crum) Brittain. She married Jack S. Watson on April 9, 1988, and he survives.

Connie graduated from Frankfort High School in 1964, where she was a member of the Pupettes. As a teenager, she was known for her love of dancing. Connie worked as an admitting supervisor at Clinton County Hospital for 18 years and Frito Lay.  Connie was a member of the Union Baptist Church in Forest. Later in life, Connie enjoyed bowling, mushroom hunting, and fishing.

Along with her husband of 35 years, Connie is survived by her children, Shane (Shawn) Robertson of Bringhurst and Rhonda (Greg) Jahn of Crawfordsville; her stepchildren, Kurt (Erin) Watson of Lafayette and Wendy (Jason) Duvall of Oklahoma; her brother, Michael Brittain; four grandchildren, Caleb (Hannah), Brittany (Letteer), Carley, Cassie; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Patrick, William, Robert Brittain, and Jeffery Nance; and her sister, Linda Henson.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2024, from 5pm until the time of the service at 7pm at Day & Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort.
