Constance “Connie” Sue Compton, 72, of Frankfort, died May 23, 2020 at the home of her son, surrounded by family. She was born on December 17, 1947 in Frankfort to Marvin and Delores (Stine) Young.
Connie was a life long Frankfort resident and 1965 graduate of Clinton Prairie High School. She was a Licensed Cosmetologist and General Manager of Kork & Keg Liquors for 30 years, retiring May 1, 2020. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Frankfort.
Surviving are her Sons: Brien (Trish) Compton, Brad (Shannon) Compton, and Michael “Eric” Compton all of Frankfort; Sister: Sharon (Keith) Kennedy of Louisa, Virginia; Brother: Terry (Lori) Young of Noblesville; Grandchildren: Tanner (Shelby) Compton of Lafayette, Brady Compton, Braden Compton, Kaleb Compton, Kobi Compton, Joci Compton, and Keaton Compton all of Frankfort; and Great-Grandson: Kayson Compton. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, May 28, 2020 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main Street, Frankfort. Following the guidelines established by the State of Indiana in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we will be allowing up to 40 people in the funeral home at a time. When you arrive at the funeral home parking lot, staff members will provide directions. We appreciate your cooperation and patience. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, May 29, 2020 at the funeral home. Pastor Paul Whitaker will officiate. The service will be live streamed at 10 a.m. Friday, to participate, follow the link on the website. Private Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park.
