CORE Community Center has announced that with only six days remaining in its Giving Tree program, eight local children are still needing to be sponsored for Christmas this year.
CORE stated that prospective participants may call, stop by or message the organization if they are able and willing to help a family in need during the holiday season this year.
All gifts for the program must be returned unwrapped with tags by Dec. 18.
Gifts will be ready for those who applied to receive the Christmas assistance prior to the holiday on Dec. 20.
